In an email from a representative of Anthony Kim's management firm, IMG, Rotoworld has learned that the golfer is still on track to return to competition in a few months.

The email from Dave Haggith regarding AK reads as follows: "He's progressing well with his rehab from the Achilles injury, and the original timetable given to him was 12 months, so we hope he's in a position to come back in mid to late summer, but nothing has been determined yet." Kim had surgery on his left leg on June 30 last year. At the time, he was recovering from injuries to his left forearm and right elbow. He has a Major Medical Extension affording 16 starts to earn $613,550 and retain status. If he return this season and doesn't secure his card for 2013-14, the MME will carry over. Still, there's no reason for him to rush back, so don't be surprised if he goes the full 12 months before seeing him back inside the ropes.
