| Assets: | Combines great distance and accuracy from the tee. Puts the ball in play and manages the golf course fairly well. Has a great golf mind and limits the mistakes. |
| Flaws: | Not a birdie machine. Plays too conservatively at times. Doesn't have the power to tear a golf course apart. An inconsistent putter when the pressure is on. Has confidence issues. |
| Career Potential: | Regular tour contender with solid upside. |

Steele taking his third shot at Wells Fargo | 05/01/2013 9:39 PM
News
Brenden Steele heads to Quail Hollow for his third Wells Fargo Championship.
PGATOUR.com
Impact
While Steele's done no better than a tie for 48th last year, he's at least seen the weekend on both of his attempts. He's made nine of 10 cuts this season and enters Quail Hollow off a T32 in New Orleans. At 26th in ball-striking, he could be at an advantage given the questionable state of the greens this week. |

Steele loves TPC San Antonio; home of '11 win | 04/03/2013 9:33 PM
News
Brendan Steele returns to the site of his only PGA TOUR win for the Valero Texas Open.
PGATOUR.com
Impact
Steele has feasted on TPC San Antonio in his two appearances, winning the event in 2011 and sharing fourth last season. He's shown that he's a course horse, with form not indicative of his success. In most fantasy formats he should be heavily considered as a play this week. |

Steele cards a 68; co-leads TB Championship | 03/14/2013 2:09 PM
News
Brendan Steele buried five birdies en route to a 3-under-par 32-36=68 in his opening round of the Tampa Bay Championship, finishing with a share of the clubhouse lead.
Rotoworld.com
Impact
Steele hit 15 greens in regulation at Copperhead today and headlined his set of birdies with a conversion from 15'10" at the par-3 15th hole. He also sustained two bogeys, both as a result of failed GIRs, but he poured in a par save from 10'6" at No. 2. When he missed the cut in his only start at the event in 2011, he shot 72-73, so today's experience was his first worth remembering. |

Steele's made each cut to start his 2013 year | 03/11/2013 10:32 PM
News
Brendan Steele enters the Tampa Bay Championship with the confidence of having made each of his five cuts to start the year.
PGATOUR.com
Impact
His best finish of the year was a T6 at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, and he's done a nice job of at least salvaging weekend finishes in his worst weeks. He's only played the Copperhead Course once, and that was in 2011 when he missed the cut. |

Steele nabs first top 10 of 2013 at WMPO | 02/03/2013 6:57 PM
News
Brendan Steele spun a 4-under-par 33-34=68 in the final round of the Waste Management Phoenix Open to earn his first top 10 of the season at 18-under 266.
PGATOUR.com
Impact
Steele started off hot, erasing a bogey on the second with an eagle-birdie run on the third and fourth holes. He would then go quite, settling for par on his next 12 holes before sneaking into the top 10 with birdies on his final two holes. While he hadn't earned a top 25 before this week, he was trending up headed into TPC Scottsdale. He will not play Pebble Beach. |

Steele poised for first top 10 in six months | 02/02/2013 5:24 PM
News
Brendan Steele turned in a bogey-free 6-under-par 33-32=65 in the third round of the Waste Management Phoenix Open, giving him a chance to land his first top 10 since the Reno-Tahoe Open in August of 2012.
Rotoworld.com
Impact
Steele made his noise on the TPC Scottsdale's par 3s, racking up three birdies and a par in four attempts. He added birdies on two par 5s and a 14'6" birdie on the par-4 14th. With the leaders still on the course with birdie holes remaining, it's unlikely that he will capture his second TOUR title on Sunday. He enters the final round at 14-under 199. |
