| Assets: | Has a great swing and a solid all-around game. He mixes power and accuracy off the tee and possesses an above-average iron game. He's particularly deadly with the wedges. Makes a lot of birdies. |
| Flaws: | Can be intimidated by a tough venue or playing against top competitors. Is a good but not a great putter. Needs to work on his short game and mental toughness. Also needs to learn how to win. |
| Career Potential: | Steady performer and occasional winner. |

Van Pelt bounces back w/ final-round 68 @ TPC | 05/12/2013 11:58 AM
News
Bo Van Pelt went out by himself in the final round of THE PLAYERS and took advantage of the pure greens and lack of pressure to spin a 4-under-par 34-34=68.
PGATOUR.com
Impact
BVP blew any chance he had of contending with a third-round 79, but six birdies to just two bogeys at TPC Sawgrass on Sunday morning demonstrate that form wasn't the problem. He ends the week at 2-over 290. Don't look for him at TPC Four Seasons Resort next week, as he is not in the field at the HP Byron Nelson Championship. |

Impact
While it won't go for a win, BVP will pick up his first top 10 of the 2013 season. Early in his final lap around Quail Hollow, birdies from 1'11" on the par-4 first and a six-yard chip-in on the par-3 sixth had him in contention. His fatal flaw was failing to take advantage of the par 5s on the front, and then giving back both of his birdies with a double bogey on the par-5 10th. Following a bogey at 13 and a birdie at 15, he polished off his first top 10 with a 59'4" birdie at 18. He now heads to TPC Sawgrass for THE PLAYERS. |

BVP is paired with K.J. Choi and Jerry Kelly in what could be a long day at Harbour Town. The final threesome of the day will begin at 12:30 p.m., meaning the rounds will take at least five hours to complete and likely longer. If there is a plus, maybe the the anticipated logjam will give the guys time for a burger and some fries at the turn. |

Here we are entering the second half of April and BVP is still chasing his first top 15 of the season. He's also missed three cuts to match last year's total (excluding one withdrawal). Today he landed 13 greens in regulation and circled five birdies, including a 14'3" conversion at the 12th hole and a 12-yard chip-in at 3. While he failed to save par on two occasions when he missed the green in regulation, settling for bogeys at Nos. 14 and 7, he poured in a par save from four yards just off the green at the par-4 13th. |

Impact
After five successive delays lasting four-and-a-half hours, play resumed at Dove Mountain in Marana, Ariz. Senden has a 1-up lead after six holes, but then lost the next seven in a row, the last with a bogey-6 on the 13th hole. During that stretch, BVP won two holes with birdies, four with pars and one with a concession. He's the first to advance to Friday's second round during which he'll square off against the winner of Ian Poulter v. Stephen Gallacher. |

Impact
BVP carded a 59 on his own ball in Wednesday's pro-am, prompting daily leaguers to plug him in this morning. Unfortunately, the golf gods limited him to an eagle hole-out from just off the green at the par-5 13th hole and three birdies. He also saved par from 10'2" at the eight hole and swallowed a double bogey at the par-4 sixth. |

News
Bo Van Pelt was the first to post a number at the Farmers Insurance Open, recording a 5-under-par 33-34=67 at Torrey Pines North.
Rotoworld.com
Impact
You'd think that a birdie machine like BVP would have had his way with the North Course throughout his career, but consider that he hadn't broken 70 in either host track at this event in his last 12 rounds. He sandwiched a pair of bogeys today with seven birdies, including at east of the four par 5s. |

Bo Van Pelt's consistent 2012 is in the books, and he now turns his attention to the Humana Challenge to start 2013.
PGATOUR.com
Impact
Van Pelt recorded 16 top 25's and 10 top 10's in what was a model year for consistency. He opened 2012 at this event, finishing T54. There will be plenty of solid places to peg BVP into fantasy lineups throughout the year, so don't rush to burn him this week if you aren't feeling it. |
