The injury has become a chronic issue for Noah, who barely practiced after the All-Star break. We imagine both parties would like to find a way to solve the problem for good, but the recovery from such a surgery can be long and troublesome. While Noah had some very strong performances at the end of the Nets series and to open the Heat series, it was clear by Games 4 and 5 against Miami that he wasn't anywhere close to 100 percent. The Bulls will likely re-evaluate Noah's foot after a few weeks before making the next decision.

Joakim Noah double-doubled with 15 points and 11 boards in a 104-94 loss to the Heat on Friday, adding four assists, two steals and two blocks in 42 minutes.
His minutes are back up to where they were before going down to injury. Excluding Wednesday's blowout loss, Noah averaged 41.3 minutes per game in his last four. Noah's performance against the Nets was something else and it's hard to believe he is just a couple weeks from being a game-time decision for games in the first round due to plantar fasciitis. The Heat will have to do a better job keeping Noah in check.

He sure looked great tonight -- when he wasn't scoring on unimpeded cuts to the basket, he simply dominated the Nets' weak single coverage. Joakim is averaging 19.0 points, 14.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 5.5 blocks in his past two games, and he'll need to have a huge second round for the Bulls to upset the heavily favored Heat.

"If he has soreness, we're going to take it as it comes," Thibodeau added. Even if he does play, he's "likely" to be on a "severe minutes restriction." When asked how much Noah will play, Thibodeau said, "I don't know and that's the unfortunate part." This has the potential to get ugly.

This was an expected move and he will sit out both games of the back-to-back set. The issue that forced him to miss three games in the beginning of February is back and there's not much known regarding the severity. "We got smacked," Noah said about the loss. His minutes came down to 27 tonight and the Bulls were playing him a little more than they would have liked with 36.0 minutes per game in his last 10 with Taj Gibson out. Noah doesn't seemed to be bothered by plantar fasciitis right now and he's one of the best centers in fantasy as long as he's healthy.

Joakim Noah's tip-in was waved off (goaltending) in the final moments of the Bulls' overtime loss to the Nuggets on Monday, and he finished with 14 points, 12 boards, six assists, and seven blocks.
Noah hit 7-of-10 shots and aside from five turnovers, he was a beast tonight. His tip-in was the source of some controversy, but slow motion replays showed it was clearly goaltending and that gave the game to the Nuggets. Luol Deng hit just 9-of-23 shots for 21 points and five assists, and Carlos Boozer scored 14 points with nine rebounds in the loss.

Joakim Noah and the Bulls ran all over the Warriors on Friday, with Noah's 16 points on 7-of-8 shooting, 13 rebounds, three assists and one steal leading the way.
Luol Deng scored 23 points on 9-of-16 shooting (including a three) with six rebounds and two steals, and Carlos Boozer carved up the Warriors' soft interior defense for 21 points, nine boards, five assists and three steals in the 28-point road win.

Joakim Noah had a rough night at the office on Wednesday, scoring six points with nine boards, three assists, no steals and no blocks in 29 minutes.
The Bulls were absolutely demolished against the Kings and Tom Thibodeau waved the white flag early in the game. Noah had been cruising along for a while now, so there's no reason to worry and he's one of the best fantasy centers out there.

He has become the centerpiece on offense and defense for the Bulls and averaged 13.4 boards per game in his previous five. Noah is battling through his plantar fasciitis, but should he locked into fantasy lineups despite the concerns.

He is coming off a massive 20-20 triple-double with 11 blocks and today's line wasn't a total disappointment. The Bulls have been running more of the offense through Noah and he leads all centers in assists. On the downside, he did look to be in some pain during the game, which suggests it might be his plantar fasciitis. He should be in all lineups as long as he's healthy.

Joakim Noah confirmed that he's "tired" and still battling soreness in his feet, but he has no plans to miss any games.

Noah and Boozer remain must-start fantasy players, while Gibson might be clinging to value in deeper leagues, despite playing behind the two studs.
