League sources tell CBS Sports' Ken Berger the 76ers will interview lead assistant Michael Curry for their head-coaching vacancy next week.
Curry's been endorsed by both Jrue Holiday and Evan Turner as their preferred choice to replace Doug Collins, but that was before the 76ers hired Sam Hinkie as general manager. Hinkie has made it clear he's not beholden to any of the Sixers' old guard -- be it coaches or players -- so we expect Curry to be just one of several candidates Hinkie meets with in the coming days.

Jrue Holiday says the 76ers would "still be in the playoffs" if Andrew Bynum was healthy.
A lot of sentences this season started with the phrase, "if Andrew Bynum was healthy." Of course, we knew early on that probably wasn't going to be the case this season and it remains to be seen how healthy he'll be rest of his career. Bynum's knee problems will be a major red flag in free agency and it's hard to imagine new Sixers GM Sam Hinkie banking his franchise on the fragile big man. Holiday does need help though and his comments illustrate just how big of a hole the Sixers were left with thanks to Bynum's season-long absence.

New Sixers GM Sam Hinkie called Jrue Holiday, Evan Turner and Thaddeus Young "interesting young players that you have to think about and you need to really assess."
It's an interesting comment but not necessarily a telling one. Turner's future in Philadelphia is very cloudy, but it would be a surprise to see the team put Young on the block, and Holiday is considered a focal point of Philadelphia's future. It's clear that Hinkie is not afraid to remake the roster his way, so we'd expect an offseason of change for the Sixers.

Jrue Holiday endorsed Sixers assistant Michael Curry as the team's next head coach.
"I've known him for the last three years," Holiday said. "He's somebody I trust, and somebody I'd love as a head coach." Curry played a "major role" in Holiday's development, and while he's under consideration for the Sixers' head coaching gig, there is not a clear frontrunner at this time. "I think he was the glue to our team last year," Holiday added.

The Sixers are not expected to interview Mike Malone and Jeff Hornacek until next week, but both Shaw and curry are also expected to get a shot. According to Philly Blurbs, Quin Snyder is another name who could pop up on the radar at some point soon, but there's nothing definitive there yet.

The Sixers have "conducted a thorough background check" on Warriors assistant Mike Malone, who appears to be the leading candidate for the head coaching job at this time, sources told CBS Sports.
Malone's name has been kicked around in coaching circles for a while now, and after the Sixers had received permission to interview him, it seems as if the team has legitimate interest in possibly making him their next head coach. However, the report states it's "too early to identify a front-runner," but the front office has contacted the Warriors "multiple times about Malone, including several conversations with consultant Jerry West."

The Sixers will likely interview more than just these two for the job, but they are the early favorites in the hunt for Doug Collins' old gig.

Sixers GM Tony DiLeo is facing an uncertain future with the team.
Owner Josh Harris offered a less than ringing endorsement. "I believe that we certainly made decisions that we all can learn from last year and things didn't work out - so everything is on the table," Harris said. "We're going to be looking at all aspects of the organization in trying to bring a winner to Philly. So that's the way I would answer that." DiLeo has less than two months remaining on his contract.

Warriors assistant coach Mike Malone and Pacers associated coach Brian Shaw are high on the Sixers' wish list for their head coaching vacancy, sources tell Dei Lynam of CSN Philly.
According to Lynam, Malone's name was also on the list of "dark-horse candidates" when the team was looking to replace Eddie Jordan in 2010. At the time, Malone was an assistant with Cleveland but has since seen his stock rise with New Orleans and now Golden State. Shaw, on the other hand, has been mentioned for openings before, particularly the Lakers. He took the associate coach job on Frank Vogel's staff after failing to land a head coaching job in 2011.

We know the team also has reported interest in Brian Shaw, but we can now add Malone to the list as well. Currently an assistant for the Warriors, it would not surprise us at all to see Malone get a head coaching position before much longer.

Jrue Holiday played just nine minutes and had five points in Wednesday's win over the Pacers.
Holiday was up and down this season, but figures to be one of the better fantasy point guards in the league for years to come. He'll also play for a new coach next season, as Doug Collins rides into the sunset.

Jrue Holiday shot 7-of-15 from the field for 14 points with three boards, three assists and one steal in 28 minutes during a 109-101 loss to Detroit on Monday.
He did have five turnovers, but it was nice to see him shoot the ball well. Holiday has been taking too many long-range 2-pointers and is shooting just 32 percent on his 4.6 shots per game from 16-23 feet. He's not having a strong finish after earning an All-Star nod.

Doug Collins has decided to resign as head coach of the 76ers after the season, according to Yahoo! Sports.
Collins and the Sixers are amicably negotiating a buyout for the final year of his contract, and it's possible that he will remain with the team in a different capacity. The 76ers currently have a 33-47 record, and they're the lowest-scoring team in the league at 92.9 points per game.

Jrue Holiday had another sub-par shooting performance on Sunday, making 6-of-17 from the field for 14 points with five boards, four assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes.
April hasn't been kind to Holiday and he's shooting just 30 percent in the month. Holiday was flirting with first-round value back in 2013, but he's only put up sixth-round value in the last 30 days in standard leagues.

Jrue Holidah shot 8-of-17 from the field for 22 points with seven boards, one steal and one 3-pointer in 37 minutes against the Wizards on Friday.
His offense has really hit the skids since the All-Star break, making just 39.1 percent of his field goal attempts. Holiday's assists have also dropped to 7.1 per game since the break, which is down from the 8.9 he put up before that point. He's still expected to be a top-10 point guard next year.

Jrue Holiday hit 5-of-10 shots and three 3-pointers for 15 points, but had just one assist in Tuesday's ugly loss to the Nets.
In addition to the 3-pointers, he also committed just one turnover tonight, which is a good thing. He admitted recently to being tired, which is probably a reason that his assists were nonexistent tonight. But as long as he's playing for Philly, he should be starting for your fantasy team.

Jrue Holiday admitted to having late-season fatigue.
Over his last four games, Holiday has shot 18-of-72 from the field, good for 25 percent. "It's been tiring, obviously. I won't lie," he said. "It's my first time really going through a season where you're averaging more than 35 minutes." Holiday is averaging a career-high 38.5 minutes this season compared to just under 34 last year. Holiday is also learning how to battle mental fatigue as well.

Jrue Holiday finished Saturday's loss in Miami with 18 points on 7-of-17 shooting, including a 3-of-4 mark from downtown.
Holiday seems to be wearing down and his offensive struggles have been monumental (5-of-38 FGs in the previous two games). He coughed up five more turnovers tonight, but his 41 percent shooting is actually a step in the right direction, and he appeased some owners with five rebounds, six assists, two steals and one block.

Jrue Holiday had five points on 2-of-24 shooting in Wednesday's loss to the Bobcats.

His matchup against Brandon Jennings never really happened, as Jennings was benched by his coach after they got into it. The bad news is Holiday hit just 6-of-17 shots and committed six turnovers, but at least he didn't "pull a Jennings," who failed to score for the first time in his NBA career.

Jrue Hoilday shot 2-of-8 from the field for seven points with one board, one assist and one 3-pointer in 24 minutes against the Jazz on Monday.
After being remarkably consistent about one month ago, Jrue has been up and down lately. He scored 27 points on March 16 and 18, then just two on March 20 and scored at least 18 points in his previous two. Holiday is taking 3-pointers and the steals have certainly been there, so he obviously belongs in all lineups.

Jrue Holiday finished Sunday's rare road win in Sacramento with 21 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists, five steals and one block.
The Sixers hadn't won a game on the road since January 1st, but they racked up 117 points against the Kings tonight, while dominating the rebound battle and piling up 31 assists vs. nine turnovers. Philly doesn't have a realistic chance to make the playoffs, as they trail the eigth-place Bucks by seven games, but Jrue is still playing like a ring is at stake.

Jrue Holiday scored 18 points with six boards, 15 assists, four steals, one block and three 3-pointers in 38 minutes against the Nuggets on Thursday.
He shot 6-of-12 from the field and made all three free throws to make this an eight-category line. Jrue had a massive two-point dud against the Clippers on Wednesday, but the Clippers are one of the toughest matchups for guards. Jrue scored 25.0 points per game in his three games prior to the aforementioned dud, so he's finally over his slump from earlier this year.

Fantasy owners hoping for a repeat performance of Monday's 27 points and a full stat line were left in agony, while the Sixers didn't really even show up against the Clippers. Look for Holiday to bounce back on Friday when they visit the Nuggets, but keep in mind Denver is 30-3 at home this season.

This was one of Holiday's best games of the season and he committed just three turnovers, giving him a total of four over his last two games. He's a must-start fantasy player as long as he's healthy.

Jrue Holiday double-doubled with 15 points and 11 assists to go with one steal and one 3-pointer against the Nets on Monday.
He shot 4-of-8 from the field and he needed a positive outing after shooting just 27.1 percent in his last four. Holiday doesn't quite look 100 percent and he's lost a step in the past week or so. He's still worth starting in all leagues and his owners shouldn't panic.

Jrue Holiday struggled in a loss to the Heat on Friday, scoring nine points with four boards, 13 assists, one steal and one 3-pointer on 3-of-11 shooting.
He's been one of those quietly consistent guys this year, but he's in a slump right now, shooting just 27.1 percent from the field in his last four games. He has a minor thumb bruise, but there isn't enough evidence to suggest that's the cause for his struggles. Holiday is too good to be kept down and he should remain in all lineups.

It's not a surprise that Holiday is a little banged up at this point. He's been carrying the Sixers all season long and is currently tied for fourth in the NBA at 38.5 minutes per night. There's nothing for owners to truly worry about here.

Jrue Holiday said that he "jammed" his left thumb against the Hawks on Wednesday and was seen icing the injury after the game.
Holiday had 11 points and 12 assists, but he shot just 3-of-12 from the floor, and although it's on his non-shooting hand, perhaps the injury affected his play. The injury is considered minor and he's fully expected to play against the Heat on Friday.

Jrue Holiday had 18 points, five rebounds, 10 assists and four steals in Tuesday's loss to the Celtics.
The bad news is Avery Bradley's defense helped limit him to 6-of-17 shooting, he didn't hit a 3-pointer, and committed five turnovers. Holiday's having an All-Star season and should be in most starting lineups the rest of the way.

Jrue Holiday helped the 76ers escape with a comeback win on Saturday, scoring 27 points with three 3-pointers, five rebounds, seven dimes, four steals, and a season-high-tying eight turnovers.
The Sixers' budding star should spend much of his summer trying to reduce his turnovers (tied with Rajon Rondo for the league-high at 3.9 per game). They have often been his Achilles heel in real life and in fantasy leagues, knocking him from the No. 15 player in nine-cat to the No. 48 player in eight-cat. For inspiration, perhaps he could surf Synergy watching the league's top assist-to-turnover PGs, including Jose Calderon (4.3), Chris Paul (4.4) and Kirk Hinrich (3.3).

He didn't have a steal in any of his previous three games, which was his longest drought of the season. Holiday's foot sprain from back in December appears to be a non-issue and he's turned a profit of third-round value in standard leagues on the season.

The Sixers fell to the Knicks on Sunday, 93-99, despite Jrue Holiday's game-high 30 points, three 3-pointers, five rebounds, five assists and one block.
Holiday put the Sixers on his back again tonight, and though his team has dropped five straight, he's cruising along with 17.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 8.0 assists in February. He's also in the cross-hairs of every opposing defense, part of the reason he's averaging 3.9 turnovers and 41.9 percent shooting in February, though the poor shooting should correct itself before long.

Jrue Holiday double-doubled with 16 points and 12 assists against the Bucks on Wednesday to go with five rebounds, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer in 39 minutes.
He's been quietly consistent in the points an assists departments over his previous 10 games, averaging 18.1 points and 8.3 assists. Jrue did shoot 6-of-17 from the field, which has been his only knock lately, but he's proving to be worthy of a player that has second-round value in standard leagues.

Doug Collins felt that using Jeremy Pargo alongside Jrue Holiday on Saturday allowed Holiday to have more energy down the stretch.
"[Pargo] was terrific tonight," Collins said. "He gave us a playmaker out there. He gave us speed and quickness. He gave us good defense and he allowed me to get Jrue off the ball." Holiday scored eight of his 20 points in the fourth quarter and fantasy owners needn't worry about his role in the least.

This doesn't sound like anything serious, so we're not reading it as anything other than a coach staying away to protect his players from catching anything. We'll let know if Collins won't be on the bench when the Sixers host the Grizzlies on Monday.

Jrue Holiday hit 16-of-25 shots and a 3-pointer for a career-high 35 points to go along with five rebounds, six assists and a steal.
Holiday is having a great season and was rewarded with a trip to Houston for the All-Star game. The Sixers have a great second-half and fantasy playoff schedule, so owners should be wary of trade offers for their stud point guard.

Sixers PG Jrue Holiday was selected as a reserve on the Eastern Conference All-Star team, league sources told Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.
Wojnarowski also reported Pacers G/F Paul George was named to the Eastern team. Both players are very much deserving of the honor. Holiday has delivered on expectations after signing a big contract in the offseason while George has more than made up for the injured Danny Granger. Expect the rest of the All-Star reserves to hit the public shortly and expect several outraged fan bases to hit social media immediately after that.

He completely took over and put the team on his back. Jrue's offensive game has launched to new heights in his last three, averaging 30.7 points to go with 11.3 assists. He should be an All-Star and is turning a nice profit for fantasy owners.

Doug Collins said that the Sixers have to "be able to get Jrue [Holiday] off the ball some" on both sides of the court because "it's taking its toll on him."
The Sixers ask Holiday to do a lot at both ends of the floor, but Holiday has been impressive all season. He's averaging 19.0 points, 8.8 assists, 4. 2 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.2 3-pointers on the year, and he's playing very well in January with averages of 20.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, 8.6 assists, 1.6 steals, 0.5 blocks and 1.6 3-pinters on 48.1 percent shooting. Obviously, keep him locked into your lineup.

Jrue Holiday had 29 points, five rebounds, 11 assists, four steals and four 3-pointers on 10-of-17 shooting in Tuesday's loss to the Hornets.
The strong line was perhaps wasted by owners in weekly leagues, as the Sixers play just two games this week. Holiday's breakout season continues and he's on fire right now, going for 30 points, nine dimes and four steals in his previous game on Saturday.

Jrue Holiday shot 11-of-22 from the field and made all seven free throws for 30 points to go with three rebounds, nine assists, four steals, one block and one 3-pointer in a win over the Rockets on Saturday.
His groin strain that bothered him earlier this month appears to be a thing of the past and Holiday has played in 39 minutes in back-to-back games. He should be in all fantasy lineups.

Holiday's groin strain wasn't previously reported, so we're assuming the injury isn't overly serious. Check back for confirmation that he'll be in the lineup, but it sounds like he will be.

Jrue Holiday had his first triple-double of the season with 16 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, two steals, two blocks and a 3-pointer, but it was wasted in a loss to the Suns on Wednesday.
Holiday also committed six turnovers, which remains an area he needs to work on, but he's averaging 19 points, nine assists and more than a steal and 3-pointer on the season.

Holiday is having a fantastic season is is hot, coming off 29 points, nine boards and nine assists in Saturday's loss to the Blazers. Holiday could easily make the All-Star Team this season and should be ready to do it again on Wednesday at Phoenix.
