LeBron James triple-doubled with 32 points, 10 rebounds, 11 assists, three steals and a block -- and hit just 11-of-26 shots -- but he constantly resurrected the Heat from the dead as they took Game 6 in overtime in one of the greatest NBA Finals games ever played.
It's going to take a while to sort through all of the mayhem, and James' status as a choker and world beater on Twitter swung like a metronome throughout the game -- most notably when he lost his headband and turned into the flying death machine. Dwyane Wade's stat line of 14 points on 6-of-15 shooting with four rebounds and four assists isn't going to stand out, but he was awful tonight on both sides of the floor. Mario Chalmers was the team's second best player for most of the game and finished with 20 points on 7-of-11 shooting and four treys, while Chris Bosh's defense picked up down the stretch as he finished with 10 and 11 to go with three steals and two blocks. If Thursday's Game 7 has even half of the excitement of Game 6, the Internet might break.

The Heat chipped away all night but couldn't overtake the Spurs on Sunday, falling behind 2-3 in the Finals despite LeBron James' 25 points, six rebounds, eight assists and four steals.
Dwyane Wade had another nice game with 25 points, 10 assists and two blocks, while Chris Bosh added 16 points and six boards, but Miami's star trio wasn't enough to beat an inspired Spurs' offense. Ray Allen scored 15 of his 21 points during a comeback attempt in the fourth quarter, but everyone else on the team combined for 17 points on 5-of-21 shooting.

LeBron James scored a game-high 33 points in Game 4's 109-93 victory over the Spurs to go with 11 boards, four assists, two steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer on 15-of-25 shooting.
The Big Three went off for a combined 75 points and Miami as a team scored 50 points in the paint. Chris Bosh scored 20 points tonight and was even posting up while Ray Allen added 14 points on 5-of-10 shooting. The Heat shot 53 percent from the field and their 13 team steals set the tone for an uptempo style tonight. Game 5 will be in San Antonio on Sunday, but Miami has home-court advantage back.

LeBron James guaranteed Wednesday that he will be better in Thursday's Game 4.
James was extremely passive in his 15-point, 11-rebound performance in a blowout loss to the Spurs in Game 3. It was bad enough that James used an expletive not fit for print to describe his game Tuesday night. In years past, James would come under fire for not being aggressive enough or for disappearing at a big moment. However, we would be shocked if King James didn't rebound with a monster effort Thursday night. We'll have to see if that will be enough for the Heat to avoid going down 3-1 in the series.

LeBron James passively hit just 7-of-21 shots for 15 points, 11 boards, five assists and two steals in Tuesday's blowout loss to the Spurs in Game 3.
Dwyane Wade led the Heat with 16 points on 7-of-15 shooting, but didn't have a rebound. He did finish with five assists, four steals and a block in as ugly of a loss as you'll see in an NBA game.

Miami dominated the second half of Game 2 on Sunday, tying the series at 1-1 behind LeBron James' 17 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, three steals and three blocks.
The Heat took control with a 33-5 run spanning the third and fourth quarters, during which LeBron had 11 points, three assists and one stone-cold block at the rim against Tiago Splitter. LBJ shot just 7-of-17 from the field with two free throw attempts, and his post game wasn't emphasized, but he dissected the Spurs with his pin-point passing. The Heat haven't lost consecutive games since January 10th.

LeBron James asked to rest in the fourth quarter of Game 1 due to fatigue, and he questioned his ability to chase Tony Parker defensively.
He still played 42 minutes, but it's rare to see LeBron openly admit to exhaustion. "I was in the paint, defensive rebounding, I was closing out Kawhi Leonard on shooters," James said. "It took all in the tank from me in the third quarter. So I needed a little breather." Miami's seven-game series vs. the Pacers wore them down, as LeBron conceded, and they'll need to summon extra energy to even the Finals on Sunday.

LeBron James logged a triple-double in a 92-88 loss to the Spurs on Thursday with 18 points, 18 boards and 10 assists in 42 minutes.
It was the 10th playoff triple-double of his career, coming against nine different teams. LeBron is now 0-5 against the Spurs in the playoffs and the Spurs players on defense were clearly keying on him with the ball in his hands. He shot 7-of-16 from the field and he really struggled from beyond eight feet, making just 1-of-9 from that range. The Heat will look to rebound at home on Sunday night in Game 2.

LeBron James scored 32 points on 8-of-17 shooting (1-of-2 from deep, 15-of-16 from the foul line) with eight rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block as the Heat closed out the Pacers in Monday's Eastern Conference Finals finale.
This time James had some help from Dwyane Wade, who scored 21 points on a middling 7-of-16 shooting but also added nine rebounds, a steal, a block and a perfect 7-of-7 shots from the foul line. Chris Bosh hit just 3-of-13 shots for nine points but showed up with eight rebounds, two steals and three blocks. Ray Allen hit three timely triples to finish with 10 points and the Heat ran away for a final score of 99-76.

LeBron James scored 29 points with seven rebounds, six assists, two steals and a block on Saturday, but his teammates abandoned him in a 77-91 loss in Game 6.
The Pacers blitzed LeBron early on pick-and-rolls, forcing other players to beat them, and nobody did -- all other Heat players combined to shoot 16-of-51 from the field (31.4 percent). Udonis Haslem, the hero of Game 5, went scoreless on 0-of-2 FGs. More visible was the absence of Dwyane Wade (10 points, 3-of-11 FGs) and Chris Bosh (five points, 1-of-5 FGs), who will need to raise their games on Monday for Miami to return to the Finals.

LeBron James said after Miami's Game 5 win that he just "went back to my Cleveland days."
James was dominant in the third quarter when he set the tone against the Pacers, and considering he got a combined 17 points from Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, LeBron's comments aren't off base. LeBron will have to be more Michael (Jordan) than Magic (Johnson) if the Heat are going to return to the Finals again with Wade at less than full strength and Bosh struggling mightily.

LeBron James scored a game-high 30 points in Thursday's 90-79 victory over the Pacers, adding eight boards, six assists, two steals, one block and three 3-pointers in 44 minutes.
He was effective on offensive, shooting 13-of-26 from the field, but had some troubles at the line with just one make on four attempts. LeBron hasn't quite been doing it in his usual fashion and 20 of his 26 attempts came from outside the paint tonight. Interestingly, in the first four games of this series, when Roy Hibbert is off the court, 69 percent of LeBron's shot attempts have been in the paint; on the other hand, with Hibbert on the court, he's only shooting 44 percent of his attempts. The Pacers have been a tough matchup for LeBron, but he's simply too good. Game 6 is on Saturday night.

LeBron James (ankle) will play in Game 5, as expected.
James was never in danger of missing any time, but as the league's best player, everyone needed confirmation that his ankle won't be an issue. He'll be out there for Game 5 as he looks to put his team up 3-2 in the series vs. Indiana.

The NBA has fined LeBron James, David West and Lance Stephenson for violating the anti-flopping policy during Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
This was expected after the league was set to review some questionable calls. All three players had egregious flops and it's unlikely we've seen the last of flopping in the Eastern Conference Finals.

LeBron James tweaked his ankle in the Game 4 loss to the Pacers, but he's expected to be fine.
James didn't seem concerned about his ankle after the game, and although the team is not updating his status, it would be nothing short of shocking to see him sit at any point in the playoffs. Expect to see him out there for Game 5 with the series tied at 2-2.

LeBron James had 24 points, six rebounds, five assists, a steal, three blocks and four 3-pointers on 8-of-18 shooting before fouling out late in Tuesday's Game 5 99-92 loss to the Pacers.
The series is now tied 2-2 with Game 5 set for Thursday in Miami, while this was LeBron's first DQ since last year's playoffs against the Celtics. He's gone 380 regular-season games without fouling out and you can bet that official Joey Crawford is going to be talked about as much as the players between now and Thursday, as calls were shady for both teams all night. Dwyane Wade had 16 points, three boards, six assists, a steal and block on 5-of-15 shooting, while Mario Chalmers may have been Miami's best player with 20 points and two steals on 6-of-14 shooting.

LeBron James shot 14-of-20 from the field for 36 points during Friday's loss to the Pacers, adding eight boards, three assists, three steals, one block and three 3-pointers.
He turned the ball over five times with two of them coming in big spots in the fourth quarter. LeBron is usually the beneficiary of his opponent's turnovers and he led the NBA in points off turnovers during the regular season. He got plenty of easy shots in this game, had a spectacular reverse breakaway dunk in the second half and hit a buzzer-beating 3-pointer at the end of the third quarter, so it obviously wasn't all bad for King James. Miami will look to take back home-court advantage on Sunday in Indiana.

LeBron James headlined the All-NBA First Team when it was announced by the league on Thursday.
Joining him on the first team will be Tim Duncan, Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul and Kevin Durant, while the second team will be comprised of Carmelo Anthony, Blake Griffin, Marc Gasol, Tony Parker and Russell Westbrook. The Third team is James Harden, Dwyane Wade, David Lee, Paul George and Dwight Howard.

LeBron James drove to the basket for a layup at the buzzer to give Miami a 103-102 overtime win, finishing with 30 points, 10 boards, 10 assists, three blocks and two 3-pointers on 12-of-24 shooting.
He got to the basket for a relatively uncontested layup not once, but twice in the last 10 seconds of the game with Roy Hibbert on the bench for each of the last two possessions of overtime. LeBron was a ridiculous 78.3 percent on shots at the rim during the regular season, so Frank Vogel has some explaining to do to leave the middle wide open. This was the ninth triple-double of LeBron's career and he's come a long way from his naysayers saying he can't close games. Game 2 will be Friday night, so clear your schedules.

Duke's Mike Krzyzewski will return as head coach of Team USA for the 2016 Rio Olympics, a source with direct knowledge of the situation tells SI's Pete Thamel.
Coach K had previously stated he was done with international basketball after winning back-to-back Olympic gold medals in 2008 and 2012. It probably doesn't hurt that Krzyzewski, who is 62-1 with USA Basketball, will likely coach a team centered around LeBron James and Kevin Durant that will be the odds-on favorite to win gold in Rio. Krzyzewski will also coach Team USA at the 2014 FIBA World Championship in Madrid. An official announcement is expected Thursday.

LeBron James scored a game-high 27 points in Monday's 88-65 victory at Chicago, while adding seven boards, eight assists, two steals and one 3-pointer in 43 minutes.
He shot 9-of-20 from the field and 8-of-9 from the line. His free throw shooting has vastly improved late, making 19-of-20 in his last two games. LeBron's so-so production at the line has really been the only missing piece of the puzzle to his offensive game, so he'll be even tougher to stop should his improvement continue.

Tony Allen and LeBron James were the leading vote-getters for the 2013 All-Defensive First Team, which also included Chris Paul, Serge Ibaka, Tyson Chandler and Joakim Noah.
Marc Gasol, this season's Defensive Player of the Year (as voted by media members), barely cracked the All-Defensive Second Team (as voted by coaches). The Second Team was rounded out by Mike Conley, Avery Bradley, Paul George, and the ageless Tim Duncan. Notable absences include Roy Hibbert, Andre Iguodala, Larry Sanders, Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard and Luol Deng, while Kevin Garnett didn't receive a single vote for either team.

LeBron James struggled with his shot in Friday's 104-94 victory in Chicago, shooting 6-of-17 from the field for 25 points with eight boards, seven assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in 44 minutes.
He made his last two field goal attempts including a back-breaking triple. Despite his off night from the field, LeBron was big at the charity stripe, knocking down all 11 attempts. This was his worst offensive outing of the playoffs and was the first time he shot below 42 percent from the field since March 20. Chicago will try to limit him again on Monday for Game 4.

LeBron James hit all six of his field goals in the first quarter of Wednesday's 115-78 win over the Bulls, finishing with 19 points, five boards, nine assists, three steals and one 3-pointer on 7-of-12 shooting.
The Heat did almost whatever they wanted on offense to earn the largest margin of victory in the history of their franchise. They shot a whopping 60 percent from the field, made 9-of-18 from downtown, had 29 assists as a team, put up 20 fastbreak points and scored 56 points in the paint. LeBron did make just 4-of-8 from the line and dropped his free throw shooting in the postseason to 70.2 percent. Tom Thibodeau isn't necessarily want LeBron at the foul like and his Bulls will have to go back to the drawing board and limit Miami's easy buckets.

LeBron James said he wouldn't be surprised if he's asked to defend Bulls dynamo Nate Robinson late in games.
This is the beauty of LeBron. The 6-foot-8 James is so versatile he can match up against swingmen, centers and even 5-foot-9 guards. In most cases, that'll usually end whatever success the opposition is having. If anything, Robinson should feel slightly honored the Heat decided to use the MVP to shut him down, which he most assuredly will. We're definitely looking forward to seeing how Heat coach Erik Spoelstra decides to slow down Robinson in Game 2.

LeBron James scored 24 points in Monday's Game 1 loss to the Bulls, while adding eight boards, seven assists, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer in 44 minutes.
He was dominant against the Bulls during the regular season, shooting 63.8 percent from the field for 28.0 points per game in his four games against them, so this is a surprising stat line. LeBron just scored two points in the first half and the Heat couldn't get their jumpers to fall before halftime. Amazingly, they only turned the ball over eight times, but they only had 32 points in the paint. After Miami cruised through the first round, they actually have a series on their hands here.

LeBron James was officially named the NBA's Most Valuable Player Sunday.
He received 120 of the 121 first-place votes with Carmelo Anthony getting one vote. LeBron was simply unstoppable this season, leading the NBA with field goals despite ranking seventh in attempts. He shot an impressive 40.6 percent from beyond the arc this year while his 8.0 assists led all non-PG players. The Heat rattled off 27 consecutive wins this year and are expected to win back-to-back NBA titles thanks largely to LeBron's spectacular play.

LeBron James will be formally named the NBA's Most Valuable Player Sunday.

LeBron James was in complete control on Sunday to finish the sweep of the Bucks with 30 points, eight boards, seven assists, three steals, one block and five turnovers on 13-of-20 shooting.
The Heat are on fire and saying they're one of the hottest teams in the history of the NBA isn't exactly hyperbole. They've gone 41-2 over their last 43 games and continue to shoot the ball efficiently with tough defense. LeBron steamrolled the Bucks, shooting 62.7 percent from the field and 6.8 assists per game during the four-game sweep. Miami hasn't even missed Dwyane Wade (knee) this year and they went 12-2 in games without their second-best player. It's certainly not a stretch to think Miami will sweep the winner of the Brooklyn-Chicago series.

LeBron James admitted to being upset about not winning the Defensive Player of the Year Award.
Whether or not he was deserving, James is going to get glossed over annually because of his prowess on the offensive end of the floor. "It sucks," he said. "Who wants to finish second?" Maybe LeBron will use this as extra ammunition for next season when he's guaranteed to be in the discussion for the award again.

LeBron James shot 9-of-14 from the field for a game-high 22 points in Thursday's Game 3 104-93 win over the Bucks, adding five boards, six assists and two 3-pointers.
The Heat also beat the Bucks by 13 on March 15 and they've been road warriors for quite a while. Their point differential since February 2 was plus-9.8 and they'll have their eyes on a sweep on Sunday. As for LeBron, after scoring at least 25 points in 17 consecutive games, he's failed to hit that mark in each of his last two games. Obviously, he's fine.

LeBron James shot 6-of-14 from the field for 19 points with eight boards, six assists, one steal and four turnovers in 39 minutes against the Bucks on Tuesday.
He snapped a 17-game postseason streak of scoring at least 25 points and shot below 50 percent for the first time since March 20th. LeBron's teams have gone up 2-0 10 times in the past and they have gone a perfect 10-0. The Bucks have absolutely no answer for him and this series is shaping up to be a sweep.

LeBron James messed around and just missed a triple-double in Sunday's easy 110-87 Game 1 win over the Bucks, finishing with 27 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists on 9-of-11 shooting.
LeBron sat out the final few minutes with the game well in hand, although he failed to record a steal or block a shot, and also committed five turnovers. The Heat rolled over the Bucks in Game 1 and it's hard to envision Milwaukee winning a game in this series, as long as Bron and Dwyane Wade are healthy.

Pat Riley says he wants to keep LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh together if the trio choose to re-sign in 2014.
Riley, who noted the possibility of a lucrative local TV contract, said the team has already had "internal discussions" about re-signing Miami's Big Three despite the restrictive luxury tax in the new CBA. When asked if it's something he'll definitely pursue, Riley deferred owner Micky Arison because of the likely tax penalties that would come with keeping the trio. James, Wade and Bosh can each opt out of their deals after the 2013-14 season.

LeBron James is away on a personal matter and is not expected to play on Wednesday.
James was never expected to play so this shouldn't be a surprise. James, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony are all sitting out for their respective teams, and for those teams that have clinched their spots, it's not going to be a heavy night for the starters if they play at all. Miami will roll out a B-level team once again. Per Erik Spoelstra, "everyone else is a game-time decision."

LeBron James is unlikely to play against Cleveland on Monday and Dwyane Wade has been ruled out.
It's going to be fan appreciation night in Cleveland and the fans that were looking forward to booing him all game will be disappointed. LeBron had yet another efficient game on Sunday, shooting 7-of-12 from the field for 24 points with seven boards, six assists, one steal and one 3-pointer. He leads the NBA in field goals despite ranking just sixth in attempts, thanks to torrid field goal shooting of 57 percent. He has a shot to be the unanimous MVP this year.

LeBron James returned to action on Friday April 12.

We're going to keep him on the injury report given the chance he continues to miss games. All owners can do is hope that he stays on the floor.

Erik Spoelstra is focused on getting healthy for the postseason and is resting players at the slightest sign of an injury. With Chris Bosh (flu) not traveling, the Heat are expected to start Mario Chalmers, Mike Miller, Shane Battier, Rashard Lewis and Joel Anthony.

LeBron James reported improvement in his tender hamstring prior to Tuesday's win over the Bucks.
You'd never know LeBron is playing through a hamstring issue unless he told you considering he's downright dominant even at less than full strength. "It's reacted well the last few days and that's the good thing," he said. LeBron reiterated he won't play in every game down the stretch so expect some random DNP's to pop up as Miami closes out its season.

LeBron James played through his tender hamstring on Tuesday and had 28 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, two steals and a block on 11-of-16 shooting as the Heat tied a franchise record with their 61st win by beating the Bucks 94-83.
James should be considered day-to-day from here on out, as he's already said he won't play in all five of the Heat's remaining games. Additionally, the Heat need just one win, or a loss from the Spurs, to clinch home court all the way through the playoffs. The Heat play at Washington on Wednesday, and given the inferior opponent, as well as the back-to-back situation, owners will want to keep a close eye out for news on James' status up until game time.

LeBron James, who is expected to play on Tuesday, said that he will not play in every game the rest of the regular season.
LeBron didn't specify which games he might sit out, but he made it very clear that he won't be playing in every one of Miami's remaining games. Miami wants to be sure LeBron is as close to full health as possible before the postseason begins.

LeBron James said that his right hamstring is "a little sore" following Saturday's game and he will get treatment on Sunday.
He scored 27 points in 30 minutes, so it didn't look to be sore in the team's win over Philadelphia. It's not likely to be a big deal, but with Miami playing on a back-to-back on Tuesday and Wednesday, LeBron sitting out in one or two of those games looks to be a good bet. Mike Miller would benefit in the games that LeBron rests.

LeBron James said that his hamstring "reacted well" when he pushed off for an explosive dunk late in Saturday's game.
He finished the night with 27 points in 30 minutes, hitting 12-of-17 FGs, and it seems the hamstring injury is behind him. "I was able to get to the rim, make some jump shots, just trying to play my game," said LeBron. A few average games from LeBron are enough to win fantasy leagues, and it sounds like he'll be ready to go vs. the Bucks on Tuesday.

LeBron James returned on Saturday after a three-game absence, notching a game-high 27 points on 12-of-17 shooting in an easy win over the 76ers.
He played only 30 minutes tonight, as Erik Spoelstra consciously limited his playing time, yet he also added four boards, five assists and one steal. Miami will ease their MVP into the final games of the season, and it's possible that he'll get a few more DNPs whether or not he's actually hurt, so owners should double-check his status prior to each Heat game.

LeBron James, who is not expected to play on Friday, aggravated his hamstring injury against the Hornets on March 29.
Friday would make it three straight games off for James, but the hamstring injury is not considered a serious concern and the team simply wants to rest its best player. With LeBron likely out again, the starting frontcourt should consist of Udonis Haslem and Rashard Lewis, though neither are enticing fantasy options even in deeper formats.

LeBron James is dealing with "heaviness" in his legs, a source told the Miami Herald.
LeBron's absence is apparently "not because of any specific injury," but leg heaviness could be due to hamstring tightness, which is what the team said James was dealing with. Either way, LeBron is expected to be just fine and he's simply getting some deserved time off right now.

We warned you about the Heat resting their big guns, and that's exactly what will happen once again on Tuesday with LeBron and Wade both sitting out. The Heat will rely on Chris Bosh to carry the load, and although the Heat used a previous starting lineup of Norris Cole, Mike Miller, Rashard Lewis, Udonis Haslem and Bosh on Sunday, Erik Spoelstra left it with a "we'll see" when asked about Tuesday's game.

Erik Spoelstra revealed the Heat will take a "day-by-day approach" when it comes to resting LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.
"Obviously, our health will be the No. 1 thing, but secondly, we want to continue to improve, and we don't want to lose sight of that." Owners of James, Wade and Bosh should all be on the lookout for surprise DNP's with the Heat's season winding down.

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade could sit out against the Spurs on Sunday.
There has been concern here that the Heat would rest some of their guys today and no official word has been released just yet. LeBron has been playing lights out and this could be a huge blow for his fantasy owners. Shane Battier, Ray Allen, Rashard Lewis, Mike Miller and Norris Cole figure to get more minutes on the win. He played with a chip on his shoulder in the first half and even had 28 points with eight minutes left in the second quarter. The Heat took their foot off the gas and LeBron rested the entire fourth quarter. Fantasy owners in tight matchups will be hoping he doesn't get rest against the Spurs on Sunday.

LeBron said earlier he planned on playing tonight but relented when pressed about being rested by the Heat. His playing is massive news for fantasy owners still alive in the stretch run, but this should serve as a warning that the Heat could very well rest him from time to time over the final few weeks to keep LeBron fresh for the playoffs. Haslem, on the other hand, shouldn't affect your fantasy lineup regardless of whether he's in or out of the lineup.

The Heat fought to the very end and the didn't have any magic left, missing all of their 3-pointers in the fourth quarter until Chris Bosh made a 26-footer with the game already decided. The Bulls played them tough and did a great job on contesting shots against the team that leads the NBA in field goal percentage. As for LeBron, since the streak is over there will be some concern about the Heat resting him. He has the MVP locked up and is having one of the best seasons in quite some time.

LeBron James was one rebound shy of a triple-double in Monday's win over the Magic, scoring 24 points on 9-of-16 shooting with nine rebounds, 11 assists and a steal as the Heat rattled off their 27th straight win.
The Heat were shorthanded without Dwyane Wade but the Magic were without Nikola Vucevic and Arron Afflalo, so it was still a gimme game for the most part. Mario Chalmers picked up the slack with 17 points on 4-of-8 shooting, four threes, four rebounds, five assists, three steals and a block, and Chris Bosh went for 12 and nine with a full line. Six more wins equals the 1971-72 Lakers squad and the 27 wins are the second longest streak in major pro sports.

LeBron James once again shredded the Bobcats' defense on Sunday, scoring 32 points on 11-of-14 FGs and 10-of-11 FTs, with eight rebounds, 10 assists, three steals and three blocks.
Charlotte hung within single-digits until the third quarter, when LeBron decided to take over and the Heat built an insurmountable lead. Miami has a narrow lead over the Spurs and Thunder for the best record in the NBA (and potential home-court advantage in the Finals), so hopefully LeBron won't pick up any precautionary DNP-CDs until the bitter end of the regular season.

LeBron James leaving Miami and teammate Dwayne Wade in the summer of 2014 looks fairly unlikely at this point, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.
Stein theorizes that the Cavs are really the only team with a shot to lure James away from a team and a city that's finally made him comfortable, while also pointing out that the friendship between James and Wade is so strong it's difficult to imagine them splitting up anytime soon. The next "Decision" had been a hot topic of late, especially before LeBron's visit to Cleveland on Wednesday, but we should point out these thoughts by Stein are likely more informed opinion than fact. At this point, we're just enjoying one of the best seasons we've seen in a very long time from a player that's about as locked in as it gets.

LeBron James had 25 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists, three steals, two blocks and three huge 3-pointers late as the Heat overcame a 27-point third-quarter deficit to shock the Cavaliers 98-95 and keep their winning streak alive at 24 straight games on Wednesday.
LeBron had just seven points, two rebounds and five assists midway through the third quarter before the Heat went on a sick 32-6 run and LeBron took over the game. The Cavs still had a chance to tie it at the buzzer but C.J. Miles missed a 3-pointer. Keeping the streak alive means the Heat will continue to run the Big 3 hard, so owners of LeBron, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh should be cheering for the Heat to keep winning.

The scoreboard in Cleveland is leaking and Wednesday's game is being delayed.
"Scoreboard is leaking fluid on to floor. We need to lower scoreboard to fix. Never seen this one before. Going to be several minutes to fix," Cavs owner Dan Gilbert said. Both teams went back to the locker room and word around the arena is that the delay could last an hour. The problem should be fixed and they've lowered the scoreboard, so the delay shouldn't have any impact beyond tonight's game.

LeBron James extended Miami's winning streak on Monday with 33 points, seven boards, 12 assists, two steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer on 16-of-29 shooting against Boston.
He hit a cold-blooded 21-foot jumper to put Miami up two points with 10 seconds left in the game. Miami was down 17 at one point and the team's locker room was buzzing after a huge win. LeBron is pretty good at playing basketball and basically has MVP all wrapped up.

He shot 12-of-24 from the field and 4-of-5 from the line and continues his season for the ages. Miami hit blackjack with their 21st win in a row and they're playing head and shoulders above every team in the NBA right now.

LeBron James broke out of a funk on Wednesday with 27 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, two steals, a block and a 3-pointer as the Heat beat the Sixers for their 20th straight win.
LeBron had scored a total of just 28 points over his previous two games, pleasing his spoiled owners by bouncing back tonight. However, his line could have been so much better had he not hit just 1-of-10 shots in the fourth quarter, finishing at 8-of-19 for the night.

LeBron James had 15 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and two steals on 3-of-11 shooting in Tuesday's easy win over the Hawks.
LeBron had just 13 points on Sunday against the Pacers, and all this cold streak means is that he's about to blow up again. And don't be surprised if it happens against the Sixers on Wednesday night. Dwyane Wade stayed hot with 23 points, four boards and six dimes in the blowout.

He led the team in points, boards and assists in the win. Miami has clinched a playoff spot and they have an eight-game cushion for the top seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. LeBron is completely unstoppable and he looks like a lock for MVP.

LeBron James had 24 points -- including the game-winning layup with 3.2 seconds left -- as the Heat beat the Magic Wednesday for their 16th straight win.
Trailing 96-95 with the shot clock turned off, LeBron drove left and acrobatically laid in the game-winner with his off hand. It's his 200th straight game with double-digit points and he also gave fantasy owners an 11-of-12 night from the line. The Heat aren't close to the NBA record of 33 consecutive wins set by the Lakers in 1971-72, but the Rockets' second-best 22-game streak in 2008 is within their sights.

LeBron James shot 9-of-16 from the field for 20 points with 10 boards, four assists, three steals, two blocks, one 3-pointer and seven turnovers in Monday's win over the Timberwolves.
He matched his season high with seven turnovers and Miami's 24 as a team was their highest all year. LeBron's four assists were his lowest since February 10, but the boards and defensive stats still made it a worthwhile line for his owners. He projects to go off against the Magic on Wednesday.

Erik Spoelstra confirmed that LeBron James (knee) expects to play on Monday.
"Everything checked out fine this morning," Spo said. "He responded pretty well." The league's leading MVP candidate will warm up first, so there's a very small chance of a setback, but it's safe to keep him in fantasy lineups.

Updating a previous post, LeBron James' knee "responded well to flight and treatment," and he's hoping to play on Monday, a source told ESPN.
LeBron said that he anticipated playing on Monday after Sunday's game, and everything seems to be falling into place for James to suit up against the Timberwolves. Miami might not need too many minutes from James against a short-handed Minnesota team, but right now, it appears LeBron is on track to play.

Although LeBron James said that he would not require an MRI for his knee injury, James reportedly had his knee examined on Sunday night after the Heat arrived in Minnesota.
The Heat play the Timberwolves on Monday, and despite James getting his knee looked at, he expects to play on Monday. LeBron said the knee exame would be "precautionary," and admitted to being a little concerned, but he played through it on Sunday and will probably do so again on Monday. James did say he expected the knee to swell on Sunday night, but nobody seemed overly concerned after Sunday's game. We'll know more after Monday's shootaround.

LeBron James took a rough fall in Sunday's game against the Knicks and will not need an MRI on his left knee.
It looked bad and his left knee got twisted up as he crash-landed after being fouled on an alley-oop attempt. LeBron may have super-human ligaments and his durability is only surpassed by his superb skill. He's good to go for Miami's upcoming four-game week.

LeBron's ridiculous scoring efficiency has been well chronicled, but his passing has also been among the best in the league. He always seems to deliver the ball in the shooting pocket to his 3-point shooters and only Tony Parker and Greivis Vasquez have assisted more triples than James this season. He is also a beast on the glass and has more boards than any non-power forward or center this year. It's really not even fair how good he is right now.

This puts to bed any lingering concerns about his sore leg. Dwyane Wade added 24 points, and Mario Chalmers scored 16 points to make up for a quiet night from Chris Bosh (seven points, four blocks). King James' status was never truly in doubt, and his triple-double suggests that he's A-OK, but the leg injury did seem to temper his aggression offensively. We're running out of ways to heap praise on LeBron.

LeBron banged legs with Nate Robinson during the fourth quarter Thursday, but he expected to be good to go in time for tonight's game. He received treatment on the leg Friday and we fully expect he'll be his usual self against the 76ers. Start him in every league with every confidence imaginable.

He was hobbling around the court for a couple minutes, but the limp went away as the game progressed. As per usual, James was the star of the evening in a win with 26 points, 12 boards, seven assists, two steals and one 3-pointer on 11-of-15 shooting. The Chicago fans cheered LeBron's injury, which LeBron will probably remember the next time he travels to face the Bulls. He's now shooting a ridiculous 56.7 percent from the field on the season and we'd be shocked to see him sit in Philly.

LeBron James suffered as apparent left leg injury in the fourth quarter on Thursday after a collision with Nate Robinson and stayed in the game.
LeBron was limping around the court for a couple minutes and looks to be a bit hobbled by the injury. It's unclear where the injury is and we'll update you when we know more. It's good news that he stayed in the game.

LeBron James hit 8-of-15 shots and a 3-pointer for 24 points, six rebounds, 11 assists and four steals as the Heat blew out the Hawks in the fourth quarter on Wednesday.
The Heat scored 40 in the final period, their highest total since 2008. LeBron didn't have his 30 points tonight, but still filled it up and is one of the hottest players in the league. The Heat's weekly schedule is fantasy-friendly from here out, as they go 3-4-4-4-4-3-4 to finish up, so LeBron's owners are hoping for a strong run through the playoffs.

LeBron James shot 14-of-24 from the field for 39 points with 12 rebounds, seven assists, two steals and four 3-pointers in Thursday's win over the Thunder.
His last shot attempt was a miss from 28 feet, which dropped his field goal percentage for the game to 58.3 percent to snap his streak of six consecutive games with at least 30 points while shooting over 60 percent. LeBron is unstoppable right now and he even swished a 22-foot fallaway jumper that was contested by Kevin Durant. Miami heads into the break with an NBA-high seven-game winning streak and LeBron's hot streak has made him the favorite for MVP.

LeBron James became the only player in NBA history to score 30 points and hit more than 60 percent of his shots in six straight games after torching the Blazers for 30 points, six rebounds, nine assists, three steals, two blocks and a 3-pointer on 11-of-15 shooting on Tuesday.
Moses Malone and Adrian Dantley did it five straight times, but LeBron is the only one to do it six times. He had 30 points on 10-of-16 shooting on Feb. 3 to start the streak, and is averaging 31 points, 6.4 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 1.6 steals, 1.2 blocks and 1.8 3-pointers on 74 percent shooting over his five games since then. He's unstoppable, and all that post-game has work clearly paid off for him, while the Heat have won eight straight at home and six straight overall.

Carmelo Anthony said he's "never seen nothing" like the current tear LeBron Jams is on.

Feel free to call the hyperbole police on us, but LeBron is having one of the best runs ever. He became the third player in NBA history to score 30 points per game and shoot over 60 percent in five consecutive game. If you're scoring at home, Moses Malone and Adrian Dantley were the other two. LeBron and the Heat won all five games and they're 22-3 at home on the season.

LeBron James has made 37 of his last 47 field-goal attempts and has scored at least 30 points in four straight games.
Did we mention James is also shooting over 60 percent in each of those games? Yeah, he's pretty much on another level right now, undoubtedly tuning himself up for the stretch run and the playoffs. Even teammate Dwyane Wade can't help but marvel at LeBron. "He's off the planet right now," Wade said of James. "He's not even the best basketball player on the planet. He's surpassed the planet. He's somewhere else. He's playing phenomenal."

It was the fourth game in a row in which he shot over 60 percent from the field, which is a career best. LeBron has been absolutely unstoppable in the paint in that stretch, making 29-of-34 of his attempts. LeBron is killing it from downtown this season, shooting 40 percent and draining 1.3 3-pointers per game, and is averaging 29 points, 7.4 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.6 3-pointers over his last five, while hitting 64 percent of his shots and 53 percent from downtown over that stretch. If you somehow own both LeBron and James Harden, tonight's game was like your personal All-Star Game. David Stern said Wednesday he expects the NBA will add blood testing for human growth hormone in time for the 2013-14 season.
Stern is simply following suit after Major League Baseball instituted in-season testing for HGH this year. Stern said the league was waiting to begin testing for HGH because "there hasn't been a favored testing protocol yet." The commissioner also said he doesn't believe the NBA has a serious problem with HGH.

Charlotte allows the most makes at the rim per game and that number will be rising with LeBron hitting all 10 of his attempts from within two feet. He's been hurt all season but has yet to miss a game, and his 463 games with double-digit points marks the longest active streak in the NBA. He was his dominant self throughout the second half, throwing down dunks and making a variety of effortless shots, and we'll let you know if there's cause for concern.

The NBPA executive committee "has placed executive director Billy Hunter on a leave of absence," a source told Yahoo! Sports, and NBPA counsel Ron Klempner has been made interim executive director.
This is only going to get uglier for Hunter, who has attempted to save face in the wake of some seriously negative evidence of his tenure coming to light. Yahoo! Sports is also reporting that this leave of absence is the "first step in a process" to have Hunter removed permanently.

Of his 18 attempts, 10 of them came from within five feet and he's getting just about any shot he wants. Kevin Durant is probably edging him out for MVP, but LeBron is nipping at his heels. Dwyane Wade was also very good with 21 points, two boards, three assists, one steal and one 3-pointer on 9-of-16 shooting. It's no surprise Miami's starters are shooting a ridiculous 51.3 percent from the field.

LeBron James says the Nets are playing harder for interim coach P.J. Carlesimo than they did for former coach Avery Johnson.
James said he didn't think the Nets have changed anything schematically since firing Johnson, despite a surging record. "It sucks that Avery had to take the hit of them not wanting to play at a high level, but that's what it looks like to me," James said at shootaround Wednesday, hours before his Heat were scheduled to play the Nets. LeBron's not the first person to intimate the Nets weren't going all out before Johnson was canned, although it is a little late in the game to be digging the drama up again.

LeBron James filled the stat sheet in a loss to Boston on Sunday with 34 points, 16 boards, seven assists, three steals, one block and three 3-pointers.
He shot 14-of-31 from the field for a season high in shot attempts to go with his season high in boards. LeBron is shooting 55 percent from the field this year at an 19 shot-per-game clip this season, which makes him the best player to own for field goal percentage.

It was a quiet night for LeBron compared to his usual monster lines, but the rebounds and assists are nice. He leads all small forwards in assist by an incredible 2.5 per game and also ranks first in rebounds per game. Miami has won four games in a row and they have a 2.0-game lead on New York for the best record in the Eastern Conference.

LeBron James logged the 34th triple-double of his career on Wednesday with 31 points, 10 boards and 11 assists in an overtime win over the Raptors.
It was his fourth triple-double against the Raptors, which is more than any other team. LeBron pulled down his 10th rebound with 16 seconds left in overtime for his second triple-double of the season. He missed practice with a cold on Tuesday, so cue up the Allen Iverson sound bite.

LeBron James is in Miami's starting lineup for Wednesday's game after spending Tuesday dogged by a cold.
LeBron was unreal in his last game, a dominant 39-point masterpiece against the Lakers. As expected, he's having a monster season and remains one of the two best players in all of fantasy. Owners will want to make sure he's in their lineup tonight against Toronto.
