Smith resumed lifting weights last month, and is expected to be 100 percent for training camp. Smith is looking to bounce-back from a frigid finish to his 2012 season, where including the playoffs, he notched zero sacks over his final six games.

"Aldon is coming along," GM Trent Baalke said Wednesday. "He's probably not as far along (as Justin Smith). He's certainly getting back. ... I hate to put a percentage of it." The 49ers are taking things slow with their 23-year-old pass rusher, but he's expected to be ready for training camp.

Harbaugh also believes Smith is beginning to become a more mature player and person. "This is just an observation, but he's changing," Harbaugh said. "You can see it in his face and his body. He's kind of going from that lad -- kind of a strong, very mature lad -- to a grown man. I think that's another good thing." Smith should be motivated by his down finish to an otherwise excellent 2012.

Smith was listed on the injury report with a shoulder injury multiple times during the season, but never missed a game. After racking up 19.5 sacks in the first 13 games, Smith put up an 0-for over the last six, including the playoffs. Smith should be ready for training camp, but he'll take it easy this spring.

OLBs Aldon Smith (shoulder) and Ahmad Brooks (shoulder) were limited for the third consecutive day on Friday, and are listed as probable for Sunday's Super Bowl.
Smith has played all of the 49ers' 127 defensive snaps so far in the playoffs. While he hasn't recorded a single sack, Smith has remained a disruptive pass rusher. According to Pro Football Focus, Smith has racked up 12 pressures in the postseason. Brooks is also sackless in the playoffs, but has nine pressures and played all but eight of the Niners' defensive snaps. Both will play on Sunday and will have their hands full against a stingy Ravens offensive line that has yielded just four sacks this postseason.
