Assets:	Has three main pitches that he throws quite effectively: A mid-90s fastball, change-up and a dizzying curve that is his main strikeout pitch. Can dominate a lineup when on his game.
Flaws:	Bases on balls are his biggest issue. He also has a tendency to lose his focus and concentration. Can also be somewhat injury-riddled, which hinders his value slightly.
Career Potential:	Inconsistent starter with very good stuff.

Burnett had the win stolen from him when Mark Melancon surrendered the lead an inning later, but it doesn't take away from his performance. Burnett scattered five hits and four walks in the outing, striking out seven. The right-hander continues his stellar post-Yankees career, as he now owns a 2.57 ERA and 1.10 WHIP on the year. He'll toe the slab again Friday against the Brewers.

Burnett surrendered just one run on five hits over his seven innings of work. The only blemish on his evening came on an RBI single off the bat of Danny Espinosa in the fourth inning.
