Assets:	A driven player with nice defensive skills: can play all over the infield and outfield. Drives the ball the other way, with occasional power. Has quick feet in the field. Makes solid contact and doesn't strike out a lot.
Flaws:	Can't catch up to inside fastballs, so he generally doesn't provide a lot of home-run power. Lacks consistency on offense and can run too hot and cold sometimes.

Omar Infante went 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored in a 7-4 win over the Braves on Saturday.

Impact

Infante had a two-run homer (his first home run of the season) in the bottom of the fourth inning and later provided some valuable insurance with an RBI double in the eighth. The 31-year-old is now hitting .307 (23-for-75) through 19 games. We liked him more when he was eligible at multiple positions, but he's still useful in AL-only and deeper mixed formats.

Infante suffered a non-displaced fracture in his left hand when he was hit by a pitch during Game 4 of the World Series, but his agent, Scott Pucino, said the second baseman is "healing perfectly." The veteran infielder will enter spring training without any limitations.
