Iwakuma entered the outing with an outstanding 1.84 ERA and 0.78 WHIP. By the time he was done serving up seven hits, three walks and five earned runs to the Tribe, his ERA had jumped to 2.37 and his WHIP had slid to 0.87. Iwakuma will try to bounce back next week against the Rangers. It will be a tought test for the right-hander. |

Iwakuma was only at 70 pitches through his six shutout frames, but he had to be removed when his nagging blister caused more issues. It doesn't spoil what was another terrific outing, though, as Iwakuma didn't allow any extra-base hits and issued just his second free pass in 26 2/3 frames this season.
