Works the middle well: catches the ball fluidly, concentrates to make plays in traffic, and turns up the field quickly. Plays faster than his 40 time. Has some open-field moves and battles for extra yardage. High-effort as a blocker.
Flaws:
Injury-prone and lacks size for a possession-type target. Doesn't have top speed or very good leaping ability. Has some trouble separating from his defender.
Career Potential:
Above-average possession wideout.

Impact
The move takes Arizona off the hook for Doucet's $1.95 million base salary, and saves $1.7 million under the cap. The Cardinals will keep Larry Fitzgerald, Andre Roberts, and Michael Floyd as their top-three receivers under Bruce Arians. Doucet, 27, has been an injury- and drop-prone disappointment in the pros.
