A polished runner who uses excellent anticipation and fluidity to find seams in the defense. Catches the ball in stride, makes quick cuts and moves, and is generally elusive in the open field. Provides added value as a return man.
Flaws:
Not very physical at all, and goes to the ground far to easily; not a threat to break tackles, which limits his big-play ability. Slight of build and not very tall, contributing to his injury woes and long-term durability issues.
Career Potential:
Solid slot receiver / good return man.

Impact
Catch-less through three quarters, Douglas didn't show up until Atlanta's final meaningful drive, securing a 22-yard reception that set up the Falcons for a potentially game-winning touchdown. Unfortunately, Matt Ryan couldn't execute as San Francisco's linebackers broke up play after play in the red zone and forced a turnover on downs. Douglas finished the regular season with 38 catches for 396 yards and one touchdown. Although he somehow has the media convinced he's a better player than those stats suggest, Douglas has never proven to be a fantasy asset. He'll turn 29 before next season.
