Uses his elite speed to provide value in several roles (including wide receiver, tailback, and even cornerback if needed). Has the wheels and quickness to get separation as a wideout and shows solid hands. Has played in more than one pro league.
Flaws:
Small, and lacks both the length and strength needed to deal with the jam at the line and be a consistent target over the middle. May lack a true position.
Career Potential:
Speedy utility player.

Impact
Hawkins busted out on the scene early in 2012, catching 25 passes for 329 yards and two touchdowns in the first six games. However, his numbers tailed off in the final 11 contests. Hawkins ended the season with 53 grabs for 548 yards and four touchdowns, including the playoffs. He'll man the slot again in 2013.

Impact
Like A.J. Green, Hawkins wasn't targeted on any of Andy Dalton's first-half passes. Bengals OC Jay Gruden's underutilization of Hawkins was one of the most mysterious and head-scratching elements of Cincinnati's 2012 season. A playmaker with the ball in his hands, Hawkins finished with just 51 catches when he should've been hovering around 75. He was the 61st overall fantasy receiver. If Gruden returns as Bengals playcaller in 2013 -- and we tentatively expect him to -- Hawkins will probably continue to struggle for WR5 value.
