A smashmouth one-cut interior runner. Doesn't go down easily and will lay his shoulder into opponents and bounce off tackles. Does a great job at reading his blocking for an opening, then powers through. Explosive in short-yardage situations.
Flaws:
Has only average speed; isn't really a burner, and his somewhat-upright running style is an issue for durability (especially since he lacks great size). Not much a factor in the passing game, despite solid receiving skills. Needs to improve his blocking.
Career Potential:
Hard-working featured back.

Morris carried the ball eight times for 49 yards in a dominant first quarter. The Redskins went away from their bell cow, giving him just five totes in the second half while averaging just over two yards per play in the final three quarters. Fantasy's No. 5 back, the rookie finished near the top of the list in yards after contact and forced missed tackles while showing excellent feet and top-notch patience. He should be a borderline first-round pick in 2013 fantasy leagues.

That's third-most in the league behind only Adrian Peterson (64) and Marshawn Lynch (58). While not considered especially elusive, Morris' total is nearly double the 29 missed tackles Arian Foster caused. Morris continues his impressive rookie season on Sunday against the Seahawks' tenth-ranked run defense.
