A big and talented target. Runs routes very well and can get open down the middle. Has great hands and will fight for the catch. Particularly effective on slant routes and in open field.
Flaws:
Highly injury-prone. Sometimes doesn't get the most out of his physical tools as a deep threat. Needs to show more consistency in general. Doesn't get a lot of end-zone looks.
Career Potential:
Average wideout with issues.

The Titans hosted fellow underwhelming free-agent wideouts Kevin Walter and Brandon Stokley on Tuesday. Schilens is the youngest of the group, at age 27. We don't believe any of the trio would be an upgrade for Tennessee.
